The Killing Floor Blues Band takes its name from a Howlin Wolf song and its this sound that the band pays homage to, Chicago electric blues of the 50's and 60's.

Consisting of Ben Abel on guitar and vocals, the band has built a great repertoire and live show over 10 plus years.

Some of these songs include Roadrunner (Bo Diddley), Bright Lights Big City (Jimmy Reed) Sweet Home Chicago/All Your Love (Magic Sam Maghett) as well as originals like Funk and Low Down and Follow You Down.

This is a great band that pays tribute to some of the finest music of the 20th century. It promises high-energy music that harkens back to a time when rock and roll were just getting started and the blues was still king.
